Description

Based in Antrim, Northern Ireland, PrimePac Ltd are an extrusion blow moulding business producing containers for the industrial and household sectors.

With sales growing and plans in place to double the size of the company over the next two years, we are now needing to add to our production setting team.

• Part of the Production Team, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.
• Hands on.
• Undertake machine set ups and mould changes.
• Ensure all moulding machinery is ready for production in a timely manner, with delays communicated to the relevant personnel.
• Accountable for the performance of production equipment. Completing process control improvements to guarantee maximum output.
• Ensure product quality standards are adhered to and issues are dealt with in a prompt manner.
• Mentor junior members of the team.
• Ensuring documentation is updated to reflect any production changes.
• Responsible for the supervision of production operatives.
• To ensure good twoway communication with other staff members to ensure production runs effectively.
• Bring forward ideas of new or improved production processes, which can lower costs.
• Take a proactive approach to report any safety issues.
• To perform the job in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, especially the Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities Policies.
• To perform any other duties as may be reasonably required from timetotime.
• Experience in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical experience.
• General workshop abilities, such as drilling and welding.
• Ability to work as part of a team, or individually.
• Confident in troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of plastics processing and / or blow moulding machinery is advantageous.
