Supply Network Specialist

Up to £22/hr - Inside IR35

Larne, Northern Ireland

12 month contract

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Supply Network Specialist to join the Indirect Purchasing team in Larne, NI.

The position reports to the Regional Category Procurement Manager and is part of the EAME region procurement team.

Working closely with Category professionals and internal customers to deliver procurement services through the companies Procure to Pay system. You will be responsible for an £11m spend portfolio across various categories. Collaborating with suppliers tohelp deliver the world class power solutions produced at a prestigious manufacturing facility.

You will also play a critical role in the deployment of a new enterprise wide purchasing platform.

You will be empowered to become a Subject Matter Expert and provide first line support to stakeholders at all levels of the business.

Support from our internationalteam is always available, as well as working alongside a highly experienced category buyer.

Key Responsibilities include:

Creation and maintenance of all indirect purchase orders for the Larne and Springvale facility
Perform tactical resolution of invoice reconciliation and payment delays
Assist local Category Buyer with supplier onboarding and supplier relationship management
Support foundational data preparation for the deployment of new purchasing platform
Advocate for new purchasing platform and be primary point of contact for queries

Skills, experience & qualifications

Previous purchasing or administrative experience in a professional services environment, e.g. HR, Sales, Marketing or office administration
Positively responding to internal customer requests and working in a time critical environment
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
Previous experience as a champion for change.
Good knowledge of the Office 365 suite. Advanced knowledge of Excel is desirable
Degree educated and/or relevant jobrelated experience
