Description

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate transportation routes for efficient delivery of goods
  • Collaborate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure ontime delivery and resolve any issues or delays
  • Optimize transportation operations to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and update relevant systems
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
  • Evaluate and select transportation providers based on cost, reliability, and performance

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Transport Planner or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of transportation operations and logistics principles
  • Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software
  • Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze data for decisionmaking
