HR Manager - Retail Banking


Excellent opportunity opens for a
Human Resources Manager to join an exciting close knit, modern
Retail Banking Environmentin a Senior role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the business, ensuring that all data and information on employees is kept up to date and support the HR team in the delivery of effective HRservices in the areas of recruitment, on boarding, benefits administration, training and competence and all stages of the employee life cycle.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the end to end on boarding process for new starters
  • Complete inductions for new joiners on their first day
  • Ownership of the 3 month and 6 month probation period process
  • Supporting and advising managers and employees within your business areas on all HR policy and procedures
  • Support the HR Business Partners with any employee relations and/or sickness administration or queries
  • Administration of the Access HR system including inputting any employee changes into the system
  • Undertake duties supporting the employee life cycle including administration of new starters, on boarding, the probation procedure, leave/absence and other terms and conditions of employment
  • Assist the HR Director with the Compliance of all the HR documentation within the regulatory framework
  • Manage the approval paperwork and system administration for any internal moves/contract changes
  • Manage the annual compliance checks for all staff
  • To complete any employment/rent/mortgage or other references for employees
  • Manage the HR inbox ensuring queries are responded to within the agreed SLA
  • Maintain HR filing system
  • Support HR projects and initiative

Skills and Experience sought:

  • HR policy and process understanding
  • Understanding and interest in generalist HR
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • A good completer/finisher
  • Ability to work confidentially at all times
  • Accuracy with good attention to detail
  • Good understanding of HR service mentality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage differing priorities
