The position of
Accounts Receivable Assistant is a
Junior/Trainee role within our Toxicology Finance Function located in
Abingdon, Oxfordshire.


The role will include training and working in all areas of accounts receivable from cash allocation, invoicing through to credit control.


What You'll Do

  • Accurate processing and allocation of receipts, following up on missing remittance advices.
  • Outgoing calls to customers to ensure payment of invoices
  • Manual processing of invoices & credit notes, across different workflows in different systems.
  • Monitoring invoices raised from 'automatic' systems
  • Month end duties, to include production of customer statements

Qualifications & Skills

  • Knowledge of MS Suite (especially Excel & Outlook)
  • Good IT skills, with the confidence to interrogate multiple systems.
  • Hands on approach to problem solving
  • Able to work to deadlines, with the ability to organize and prioritize
  • Teamwork
  • Achieving results ethically
