The business invests in "big ticket" capital assets, financially traded products as well as running a small specialist lending business.

Our client is currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant / Office Manager


Location:
Cardiff/Hybrid


Reporting to:
Chief Executive Officer


Role Summary:


To provide high level secretarial and administrative support for senior management and other duties to ensure the efficient running of our Cardiff office.

In addition, to assist senior management with corporate and accounting matters.

You will be part of the overall management team and will attend the daily management briefing.


Your ability to add value in any area will be recognised and facilitated and there will be an opportunity to grow your role within the business.


Responsibilities:

Audio typing and managing internal and external correspondence

Organising meetings and travel arrangements and preparing facilities for scheduled events

Preparing and producing documentation including drafting agendas for meetings, preparing and typing meeting minutes, assisting with collating reports for external distribution

Maintaining accurate diary systems and electronic and hard copy records

Assisting senior management with corporate, compliance and accounting tasks as required.

Facilities management and organisational duties to ensure the efficient running of the Cardiff office


Skills:


Essential
Several years of experience of PA work at a high level

Fast and accurate typing skills (including audio typing). Typing speed minimum 50-60 wpm.

Excellent MS Office skills (including Word and Excel)

An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work to deadlines with minimum supervision

An adaptable approach and ability to prioritise workload

Flexible team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including good grammar


Desirable but not essential
A knowledge of company secretarial, finance, compliance, commercial property or insurance matters

A basic knowledge of French
