We are currently recruiting for an Admissions Officer to work for our client based in Manchester. This is currently an ongoing temp (possibly to permanent) position to start

ASAP. The role is paying a competitive £12 p/h and is temp to ongoing.


Job Purpose:


You will be the single point of contact for a Key Client Learners, which is why you're so important - you'll be starting a relationship that could last a lifetime.

The stronger that relationship, the more likely they are to become a registered learner.


This role would be responsible to deliver an outstanding customer service to our learners, providing a single point of contact for all non-academic queries and ensuring our students have the information and support they need to succeed in their studies.


The main goal of the Admissions Officer is to ensure learner receives a timely offer, accepted their place and completes the necessary steps in order to register on their programme.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide information, support and advice on academic and nonacademic queries (including but not limited to university policies and procedures, health and welfare, societies, accommodation and learning support) and liaising with the appropriate departments where necessary.
  • Provide advice on entry requirements, course structure, admission, and enrolment procedures.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all learners' enquiries to a high standard.
  • Maintain accurate records and information for learners using the MS Office suite, the CRM system, Salesforce, and internal student information systems.
  • Share knowledge and experience with other teams to ensure a standard high level of service is maintained.
  • Make suggestions for improvements to the service offered by the University Service team, and work on the implementation of changes where required.
  • Perform from time to time such other duties as may be consistent with the post.

Skills, experience & qualifications required - Essential.

  • Good understanding of student support is preferred.
  • Able to demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to achieve goals and deadlines as set by the business.
  • Ability to communicate via phone where required with learners and staff in a helpful and professional manner.
  • Confidence in dealing with difficult or sensitive situations.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Good understanding of the HE environment.
  • IT literate and competent with databases and spreadsheets.
  • Attentive to detail and dedicated to quality.
