Salt is working with a leading Subscription service that have unrivalled insight and data into the food and beverage industry.

They were founded 100 years ago and have been going from strength to strength and recently embarked on a digital transformation making content their key area for the business


They are now on the hunt for a data-driven Content Executive to support the Head of Content and Content Managers in creating, preparing, managing, analysing, and publishing content.

The ideal person will have a real passion for all things content. You will be an organised, creative and collaborative team player who has a good knowledge of SEO, bags of enthusiasm, curiosity, and be keen to learn

This role is hybrid working, requiring you in the St Albans office 2-3 times a week.

Responsibilities include but not limited to;

  • Proofing and editing copy in line with their TOV and style guides,
  • Ensuring SEO best practice are met.
  • Working with the team to manage the content across the site including building new pages
  • Managing content repositories, taxonomies, and metadata in the back end of the sites, including image libraries.
  • Creating and updating content (including all imagery) using templates and formats
  • Formatting presentations, updating profiles and snapshots, using datacentre information, if necessary and their analytics platform to review performance
  • Working in their CMS, you will publish daily across their website and assisting in managing the website in general.
  • Working with the team to prepare & publish, and support in writing content, where necessary.
  • You'll be required to report back on performance and be able to take a brief and turn it into the finished article
Requirements;

  • Experience in a 'Content Executive' position
  • Strong experience with content management and planning and a experience working with content management systems
  • Knowledge of SEO, tagging systems and metadata
  • A knowledge of accessibility, writing for the web, and image management
  • Knowledge of html would be ideal
