This is a really exciting Assistant Accountant role, for someone who wants to manage a full set of accounts.


Client Details
The client is a high tech medical company, with a variety of specialisms based in Cardiff.


Description
As a Assistant Accountant you will be involved in:

  • Completing financial reports on a regular basis and providing information to the finance team
  • Assisting with budgets
  • Completing bank reconciliations
  • Managing company ledgers (Sales/Purchase/General Ledgers)
  • Processing business expenses and daytoday transactions
  • Assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements
  • Preparing annual budgets
  • Preparing annual accounts
  • Completing the yearend analysis
  • Reporting on debtors and creditors
  • Handling accruals and prepayments
  • Managing monthly budgeting tasks
  • Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
  • Managing payroll

Profile

  • Have finance experience
  • Ideally have worked with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Sage

Job Offer
- £25,000-£35,000 per annum
