At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier It's a super exciting time to join us as we begin to deliver the second iteration of our Integrated Health and Wellbeing Service (IHWS) in East Sussex, and we're looking for an NHS Health Check Lead to join us

Our programmes are designed to support individuals to improve their health behaviours and make sustainable changes to their lifestyle. The IHWS programme in East Sussex consists of five key services;

  • Stop smoking support
  • Physical activity programmes
  • Adult weight management
  • NHS Health Checks
  • Health Coaching


Residents across East Sussex will be able to benefit from a variety of our established pathways and products, including Gloji and MAN v FAT Football.


As NHS Health Check Lead, you will manage a small team of NHS Health Check Practitioners to help achieve the overall NHS Health Check goal for the service.

A typical day as an NHS Health Check Lead might include:

  • A clear expectation that the NHS Health Check lead will also deliver some NHS Health Checks to achieve the overall goal
  • Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments we're always looking to share knowledge and resources
  • Ensuring due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance
  • Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values

Requirements:


  • Experience delivering or managing services and people.
  • Delivery of NHS Health Checks or a similar initiative or programme.
  • An ability to communicate effectively and work closely with staff in a range of settings, particularly GP Practices and Pharmacies.
  • Quality focused, with knowledge or experience in the implementation of clinical governance or quality assurance frameworks in a service delivery environment.

To work with us in this role you will need to have some knowledge or experience in networking, partnership management and co-production, as well as an understanding of health inequalities and approaches on how to engage those experiencing them into health promotion services - bonus points if you have experience in leading a project or team

Contract:
Full Time (37.5 hours), Permanent


Salary:
Starting at £30,000 per year (rising through annual increments to £32,000).
