Role to cover three services, Fair View Lodge in Newton Abbot. Fair View Lodge supports individuals with learning disabilities and mental health.

:

As a Maintenance Assistant your primary duty will be to ensure that the people we support live in a home that is a safe environment for them that adheres to health and safety standards.

Having a full driving licence would be desirable to be able to drive the company vehicle.

You will need to work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure that all fixtures and fittings are in excellent condition and equipment is regularly serviced.

Duties will include:

Ensuring the home is maintained as a safe and secure place to live for the residents
Maintaining the home and grounds to ensure they are in excellent condition at all times
Work closely with the Registered Manager on long term maintenance plans
Check and repair fixtures and fittings that may include lighting and heating

The safety and security of the people we support is at the forefront of what we do, so by ensuring the home is safe and properly maintained is of utmost importance.
