Description

The Royal College of Psychiatrists is seeking one Patient Representative and one Carer Representative to join the Faculty of Liaison Psychiatry executive committee as Workers.

The successful applicants will be closely involved with the committee, and particularly with the Chair and Vice-Chair, to engage the wider membership and partner organisations in advocating for our patient group.

The executive committee usually meets three times a year at the College's London office.

Liaison psychiatry is the sub-specialty which provides psychiatric treatment to patients attending general hospitals, whether they attend out-patient clinics, accident and emergency departments, or are admitted to in-patient wards - therefore it deals with the interface between physical and psychological health.
