An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner Band 4, to join our experienced, dedicated and forward thinking Mental Health Physiotherapy Inpatients service.

This post, based at Carleton Clinic Carlisle will provide Physiotherapy led interventions to inpatients who have a wide range of mental and physical health issues and will work across Older Person's pathways.


This role will support in the delivery of specialist group sessions to patients; specialist education sessions; 1:1 sessions under the guidance of a qualified Physiotherapist; assessment and treatment planning for a specific caseload; management and maintenance of equipment, with administrative duties so a good knowledge of IT / presentation skills is required, contributing to educating Students is also essential.

As a Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner, you will be expected to be able to follow oral and written instructions and present information, written and orally in a clear and logical manner to the wider MDT Eg patient record keeping
