What Is the Opportunity?
Are you an experienced Marketing Manager eager to manage comprehensive end-to-end marketing campaigns? Join our team and lead the charge in crafting impactful marketing strategies
In conjunction with the Europe Marketing department and key stakeholders, this role identifies marketing strategies and creates and executes integrated marketing programs in support of strategies aligned to specific Business Unit (BU) (e.g., Europe Bond & Specialty, Travelers Syndicate Management or Europe Business Insurance) needs.
Role supports functional specific marketing topics Europe-wide, as assigned by the Head of Marketing: for example brand, web, email, social, data, content etc.
This role is under moderate supervision and does not manage others.
Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy.
This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees).
This policy may be changed at the Company's discretion.What Will You Do?
Campaign Execution & Management:
Create, plan and manage components of integrated market campaigns in support of BU needs.
Completes marketing related requests, tasks and activities based on business objectives.
Develops content, writes, edits and shepherds material through the review/approval process.
Executes traditional marketing tactics such as email, webinars, newsletters, sales aids, brochures; and digital marketing such as video, social and web for less complex campaigns with some oversight.
Monitors the effectiveness of campaigns by tracking results; may provide input on campaign ROI analysis/reporting.Has basic knowledge of how each marketing campaign/program ties back to marketing and business strategies.
Reviews data on business and consumer insights related to marketing and provides input to partners/stakeholders.
Responsible for the ongoing maintenance/refresh of marketing program/campaign content and tactics.
Supports agency and industry events by executing marketing components .
Has basic knowledge of established marketing processes, approvals and best practices.
Functional/Technical Marketing Support:
Functional support for specific marketing topics Europe-wide, as agreed with the Head of Marketing, potentially including but not limited to:
Brand:
builds clear positioning and connection with the Travelers brand in the market.
Value Proposition:
develops & defines market offer aligned to defined target needs (customer, intermediary, employee).
Insight:
development of market and customer insight to identify opportunities.
Digital:
CRM, web, email, mobile, social, data, content etc.
Events and Sponsorships.
Media:
paid, owned & earned.
Collaboration:
Works closely with manager and marketing partners to understand BU priorities and objectives.
Collaborates with manager and marketing peers; may work with assigned BU business partners.
Project Management:
Manages small to mid-sized projects and/or campaigns.
Leadership:
May help train and serve as a resource to more junior marketing staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
General knowledge of all facets of owned, earned, paid media tactics.
General knowledge of content writing and tools.
General knowledge of multifunctional areas such as: digital execution, promotion, advertising, research, competitive analysis, communications, brand management, website management.
Working & current knowledge of broad marketing disciplines - across brand, insight, digital, campaign, communications & analytics.
Working knowledge of marketing planning and strategy principles.
General knowledge of financial services &/or insurance or related field.
Intermediate written and verbal communications skills.
Intermediate project management and organizational skills.
Basic consulting skills.
Basic Analytical and Strategic thinking skills.
Basic presentation skills.
Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualified (or working towards) required.
Squared and/or Google-sponsored qualification.
Institute or Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM) or similar qualifications (or working towards).
What is a Must Have?
Bachelor's degree in marketing or other related field or equivalent marketing experience.
Experienced in supporting the management of integrated campaigns.
