Description

SEN Teaching Assistant positions from after Easter until the summer holidays. This is a 12 week contract with the possibility of a permanent position thereafter

At DegreeSix, we work with many primary, secondary and SEN schools in Stratford-upon-Avon who have a high need for committed staff to join them on a long-term basis throughout the year.

For the right person, the position will continue on a long-term basis with the potential to be taken on permanently with the school after around 12 weeks.

Within this role, you'll be required to work on both a 1:1 basis and within small groups with pupils who have various special educational needs and learning difficulties to include (but not limited to) Autism, ADHD, Complex Needs, EBD & SEMH.

With competitive daily rates of up to £80 per day, the working hours are between Monday - Friday 8.30am-3.30pm so ideal if you are looking for work to suit your family commitments leaving your evenings, weekends, and school holidays completely free

You will need:

A flexible and proactive approach to your work
To be adaptable and passionate about working with children
Experience in a similar role
To be able to demonstrate good communication skills
2 checkable references
A DBS certificate on the update service (or we can help you obtain one)
