THE ROLE - EVENTS OFFICER


The Events Officer will play a key role in supporting the Graduation Ceremonies Manager to deliver the University's graduation events.

The role holder will also play a key role in the wider events team, specifically supporting Schools and College engagement activity and Recruitment events as required.


The Events Officer, supported by the Graduation Ceremonies Manager will play a vital role in the planning, development, delivery, evaluation and maximising the effectiveness of all Graduation events.


With direction from the Graduation Ceremonies Manager, the Events Officer will support the delivery of an audience focused Graduation Events plan.

The key objective will be to ensure the delivery of the most effective graduation events which meet agreed objectives within an agreed budget.


Specifically, the Events Officer will be the operational lead for University graduation events, supporting the Graduation Ceremonies Manager from inception to evaluation on all events.

The role holder will also support the delivery of other events.
