Our client, an independent Building Consultancy with a national footprint, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Chartered or Senior Building Surveyor to join their Edinburgh team.

With a diverse portfolio of projects across the industrial, retail, office, and life sciences sectors, the team provides expert services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.


As a Senior Surveyor, you will lead the professional services team in Edinburgh, delivering project management and building pathology expertise to clients across the commercial sector.

This is a unique opportunity to put your expertise to work and play a vital role in the growth of the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead professional and project work in Edinburgh office
  • Contract Administration and Employers Agent
  • Project Management and Dilapidations
  • Technical Due Diligence and Preparation of Schedule of Condition
  • License to Alter and Minimum Energy Efficient Standards (MEES)
  • Development Monitoring and Business Development

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Extensive experience as a fee earner with a proven track record of delivering results
  • Strong understanding of building pathology in the commercial sector
  • Project Management and Dilapidations

  • Ability to implement and execute from day one
  • Contract Administration and Employers Agent
experience

  • Technical Due Diligence and Preparation of Schedule of Condition
  • Knowledge of Minimum Energy Efficient Standards (MEES) and Development Monitoring

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

  • MRCA's and Preparation of feasibility reports
  • PPM reports and Building condition surveys
  • Acquisition Surveys and Development Monitoring
  • Preparation of access audits and Measured Surveys/ Space planning
