As a part of the Services - Programme Support role you will support the co-ordination of our Heathrow 'Here to Help Programme' and support the 'Volunteer Programme'.

This means liaising with teams and colleagues across our airport to look for new ways to drive improvements and create even better experiences.

This role is Monday - Friday.

However, to the nature of this role and the programmes you will support, you may need to work outside of your regular hours during times of disruption.


  • Managing the booking systems to ensure all new starters and leavers are processed through so they can register in the appropriate Programme.
  • Actively support the Here to Help coordinators to deliver the best experience for Here to Help colleagues.
  • Managing the communications to be put into the booking system for distribution, working closely with our Business Partner in Communications.
  • Supporting on the engagement with the community on a regular basis providing support with anything they are struggling with around standby shift allocation, sign up, uniform etc.
  • Organising and communicating support for social events and 'Thank You' events.
  • Producing communications materials, such as monthly Volunteer Newsletter publication.
  • Ability to work under pressure within a fastpaced environment whilst delivering excellence in service to our colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across multiple departments and Team Heathrow organisations.
  • Experience communicating, verbal and written, to a wide audience on different levels from Exec to frontline.

Ideally, you'll also have:


  • A knowledge of Heathrow's operation is desirable.

Working Location
Our agile approach offers the opportunity to combine home working with meetings, events and training at the airport.

All roles involve some on-site working each week, so you'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
