We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Operations Assistant to join our proactive and innovative teamThe Operations Assistant will provide essential support to the Chief Operation Officer and Senior Managers.
This role requires a highly organised, motivated individual who can support a variety of activities, whilst ensuring attention to detail and full ownership and completion of the tasks assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Support for diary management and arranging meetings
- Taking meeting minutes and tracking actions
- General administrative support for Senior Managers
- Coordination of document approvals for COO and Senior Managers
- Running and issuing of Business financial reports and where applicable the analysis of trends
- Supporting the preparation and updates of business procedures
- Support and maintenance of Intranet pages as required
- Maintenance of trackers and databases
Qualifications:
- HND Business/Commercial/Projects or similar
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to develop good relationships with colleagues and to effectively communicate at all levels.
- Strong time management
- IT literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to actively seek and find solutions to problems.
- Flexible and adaptable approach with a 'can do' attitude.
- Written and verbal business communications.
- Numeracy skills
- Business Financial awareness
Desired Skills:
- Creation of PowerBI reports and/or Excel Dashboards/pivot tables

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Preston: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
