In the UK we employ over 1,800 people and have 3 factories, 3 office locations and a national distribution centre.

Over the last few years, we have installed 10 new production lines, 3 new warehouses, a combined heat and power plant (CHP), as well as providing infrastructure for further expansion.


About the Role:


  • Lead the day to day management of manufacturing planning across the operational factory site / copack supplier in order to deliver optimised customer service availability whilst driving maximum supply chain efficiencies through inventory management and waste reduction.
  • Support factory operational management teams to deliver manufacturing efficiencies and output performance, whilst engaging with Customer Logistics to drive forecast accuracy and maximise volume sales.
  • Provide a link with procurement teams and brands teams to ensure supplier and innovation activities are delivered to maximum effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Proactively plan production and materials to drive availability of the Britvic product portfolio and efficient levels of inventory.
  • Inform & influence all stakeholders to ensure that the forecast is understood and risks & contingencies are agreed to maintain availability.
  • Provide the key link between the Demand Supply Planning Function, the Site Operations teams and the Drive Site Teams.
  • Lead and present at local / Copack review meetings (planning meeting, rate review meeting, period review meeting) to ensure that short term demand and business volume requirements are understood.
  • Proactively work with the Availability Manager Group and Drive Site in order to maximise direct deliveries to customers, and reduce internal transport movements
  • Proactively participate in projects and lead the logistics Operations element.
  • Lead central operational planning projects that deliver changes and waste reduction.
  • Lead Focused Improvement initiatives to improve quality of performance and reduce overall GB&I Operations costs.
  • To maintain and update Master Data to ensure production plans are robust.
  • Where appropriate take on key user responsibilities to drive best practice and process adherence within the planning group

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:


  • ERP and SAP R3 experience is preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel is essential
  • Experience of technical supply planning skills of Stock modelling, Master data, reporting is preferred
  • Awareness of endtoend supply chain planning and processes is preferred.
  • Proven record of working to deadlines and prioritisation of workload.
  • Able to work on a cross functional enviroment.

Qualifications:


  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent
