**Workshop Engineer
Full Time, Permanent
Peterborough

Up to £36,000 (DOE) + Overtime**
In a nutshell Our client is a global leader of manufacturing bespoke and intelligent solutions for vehicles.

Their products are sold all over the world with a huge presence in the UK.

Established in the late 1800's, they are at the leading edge of creating innovative solutionsfor their customers all over the world.

Working within an established team you will play a pivotal role in providing technical product support to the sales team and customers to ensure that the products supplied for the vehicles meet industry standards and are fit for purpose.

What's involved for the Workshop Engineer

Carry out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial vehicles
Carry out refurbishments and accident damage repair work
Bodybuilding work with welding where appropriate
Go to customer site visits as and when required
Deal with all mechanical and electrical work on vehicles
Fault find and diagnose electrical issues

What you'll need

Commercial vehicle, HGV, LGV, Agricultural, FLT, heavy plant machinery or automotive background
MUST have mechanical and electrical vehicle experience
Hydraulic experience ideal
Welding skills advantageous
Ability to interpret technical information
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels
Good written and verbal communication skills

This is a Full time, permanent
Workshop Engineerrole, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.
