Head of Finance

37 hours per week


Lancaster and Morecambe College are a thriving FE College and justifiably proud of the strong links with our local community.

Located between Lancaster and Morecambe, we are proud to be our community's provider of technical, professional and creative education.


We are seeking an experienced finance professional who will take responsibility for the financial services of the college including, managing the finance team, production of monthly management accounts, year-end statutory accounts and financial returns, managing audits, treasury management and assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.


You should hold a professional accountancy qualification (CCAB) or equivalent, and have experience of all aspects of financial management and financial systems.

An understanding of Further Education funding streams and reporting requirements is desirable.
