Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG welder to work for a stable and busy company in the Wickhambrook area.

Experience in MIG welding is essential as is the ability to work both as part of a team and to be self-motivated in your own work.

Immediate start

This role is on a temporary - permanent basis, working full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am 17:00pm

Pay Rate:
£13 - £14.50 DOE

General duties to include:

MIG Welding of products ranging from 10mm to 25mm thickto a very high level of quality
Use of general workshop tools and equipment
Fabrication of new metal components in accordance with product data sheets
Involvement in developing new products
Ensuring the workstation is clean and orderly including maintenance and care of tools.
Executing welds in a professional manner
Measuring work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications
Manual handling of metal and equipment (some heavy lifting is involved)

The rate of pay is negotiable, depending on experience.
