Job description

EXPERIENCE:


  • No lettings experience required
  • A track record of delivering good customer service, meeting and exceeding targets
  • A willingness to acquire recognised qualifications
  • Drivers Licence (full and clean) of more than 1 year
  • 8 hour day which includes a paid 30 minute lunch break
- £15-20 an hour

OBJECTIVES:


To support the lettings team in pursuit of meeting and exceeding targets by professionally managing tasks and responsibilities associated with referencing a tenant, co-ordinating with the negotiators, managers, tenant, landlord and trades with all the in-between up to and including moving tenants into a property.

You will help create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone you speak to.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Accountable quality of customer care
  • Treating customers fairly in accordance with the 1st avenue service standards and principles
  • Carry out a wide range of duties associated with the tenant and lettings progression
  • Meeting targets and deadlines set by your line manager and report issues accordingly
  • Liaise with prospective tenants and landlords to ensure a smooth end to end process
  • Work quickly and proactively to ensure properties are ready to move into
  • Identifying problems with apartments and refer to the appropriate division
  • To work in accordance with all legal obligations without exception
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of available properties being marketed in branch
  • Support the lettings team by answering the phone and taking messages where appropriate

PERSONAL ORGANISATION:


  • Appearance and presentation
  • Responsibility for desk and office tidiness
  • Collaborative workflows fully populated and up to date

ADMINISTRATION:


  • Ensuring referencing is concluded with pace and contracts drawn up expeditiously
  • Ensuring the company workflows are used
  • Ensuring all tenants ready to move into their property on time with no outstanding maintenance.

KNOWLEDGE & TRAINING:


  • To implicitly understand the legal frameworks that surround the letting of a property
  • To have a robust knowledge of the industry voluntary codes of practice

Part-time

Part-time hours: 8 per week

From £15.00 per hour
