Description
Our client is currently recruiting for an Electronics Test to join their team on the outskirts of Swindon.


Purpose of Job:

To test RF over fibre products, as part of manufacturing team, ensuring delivery of high quality product on time to the satisfaction of the customer.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Test of electronic systems, RF, power supplies and racks
  • RF test on variety of products e.g. Gain, P1dB, IP3, Noise Figure
  • Component level fault finding
  • Customer Equipment repair
  • Portable Appliance Testing

SKILLS:


  • RF test experience e.g. Network/Spectrum Analyser and Noise Figure measurements
  • Understanding of RF principles and Analytical skills
  • Component level fault finding
  • Manual soldering skills to a very high standard (surface mount and leaded)
  • Ability to follow written procedures
  • Fibre Optics Knowledge
  • Basic computer skills
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality practices

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • ONC/HNC in electronics engineering or equivalent

PERSONALITY/CHARACTER

  • Selfmotivated
  • A passion for electronics in general
  • Must be able to adapt to change in daily work priorities
  • Must take pride in producing quality work
