Join Our Summer 2024 Playscheme Team

Are you passionate about creativity and working with children? We're expanding our summer playscheme program and are looking for dynamic individuals to join our team as session leaders


Our summer playscheme offers a fun and engaging environment for children aged 7 to 12 to explore, learn, and make memories during the summer break.

From arts and crafts to outdoor adventures, our program is designed to inspire creativity and foster friendships.


Position:
Creative Session Leader


Responsibilities:


  • Design and lead creative sessions* and activities for children aged 7 to 1
  • Plan engaging and ageappropriate workshops, games, and projects.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment where children can express themselves and unleash their creativity.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants during sessions.
*creative sessions could include: cooking/baking, dance, drama, music to nature and the sciences


Requirements:


  • Passion for creativity and working with children.
  • Previous experience working with children in a educational, or recreational setting preferred.
  • Ability to design and implement engaging and interactive activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude

Location:
Hargrave Hall Community Centre, Hargrave Road, London, N19 5SP


Duration:
One week (five days), between 10am to 2pm


The programme runs between Monday 29th July to Friday 30th August 2024 therefore we are looking for five people running one session per week.


How to Apply:

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 1 week


Pay:
£13.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
