FLAMINGO GIFTING require an additional QC within our Hampers Division_

Pay Rate:
£ £12.01 dependant on experience_
-

Rota Pattern:
Monday to Friday 5-day 07:00hrs to 16:30hrs (additional hours including some weekend working during peak periods)_

Job Purpose_

To monitor the quality of product throughout the entire production process, from Intake to despatch, and during its storage.

Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications_

To have experience in all aspects of QC, and all production systems.
Having previous experience in a food environment would be desirable

General Areas of Responsibility and Principle Accountabilities:_
-
1.Efficiency._

To ensure Intake area's are able to work efficiently and safely, by examining product as quickly as possible.
To ensure Production are able to pack at an efficient speed, and with a Right First Time approach.
To ensure that all product is packed in line with current specification and product is from the correct sources if any deviation this must be highlighted and reported to the Quality Supervisor or Quality Manager
To ensure that no product is packed without a temporary specification
To be able to gather facts an develop solutions and make decisions
To be able to be a self starter and proceed without being told every detail
Be able to respond effectively to changing needs of the department
To be able to prioritise and plan to achieve job objectives
To understand the Quality Procedures and Policies of the business
Understanding date coding
Report any quality concerns to the Quality supervisor or Quality manager
To know specifications of all product
Ability to maintain a positive approach and supportive environment within the QC team and production team

2. Rework_

Minimise the level of rework through a Right First Time approach to production.

3. Administration._

To be able to communicate verbally and written as related to job specification
To ensure that all QA paperwork is completed, clearly and accurately and in a timely order

4. Hygiene and Housekeeping._
