Finance Business Partner within a social housing provider

Temporary contract for initially 4 months
Flexible working (mostly remote) and 35 hour working week

Who you'll be working for

A highly regarded housing provider based in West Yorkshire who have a commitment to creating an environment that is extremely flexible and family friendly.

The majority of your work will be on a remote/agile basis with occasional meetings as business requires.

What you'll be doing

This role is a key member of the Finance Business Partnering team, supporting your Finance Business Partnering colleagues and partnering with the business to provide commercial insights and using your technical financial skills to support the organisation to achieving its strategic objectives.

You'll combine your financial expertise, commercial acumen and constructive challenge to enable strategic delivery.

You'll work as part of a team to support the business area/s to maximise value, deliver growth initiatives, process improvement, margin enhancement and commercial opportunities across a wide range of areas and budget sizes.

What you'll need to offer:

As a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA or equivalent) you'll have honed your experience across finance business partnering and management accounts activities and be looking to use great communication skills to interact with budget holders as the face of the finance team with a proven track record of building successful relationships with senior stakeholders

You'll be commercially savvy and comfortable with an ability solve problems, think strategically and drive change.
