GRADE 2 | £12.18 per hour | £23,500 pro rata

7 hours 5 minutes per week

Permanent

1 hour 25 Minutes per Day, 7 Hours 05 Minutes per Week
To ensure the safety of children crossing the road at a designated point between specified times. The discharge of these duties must not be to the detriment of other road users.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • To ensure the safety of children crossing the road at a designated point.
  • To use all uniform and equipment provided for the safety of yourself, children and all other members of the public, especially when stopping traffic on the Highway
  • To maintain control over children who are awaiting your instructions to cross
  • To have regard to the Council's responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 200
  • To report any problems or difficulties to the Manager of the SCP Service.
