Due to continued growth and recent contract awards Mivan Limited are currently looking for additional students and graduates to join the business Summer 2024 across multiple areas of the business.

We currently have opportunities for a Quantity Surveying Student.

You will be part of a tailored programme which will provide you with on-the-job experience and access to invaluable mentoring support designed to give you the best start to your career.


As a Quantity Surveying student, you will assist our Quantity Surveyors in all commercial matters and provide commercial support to the project team.


Main responsibilities will include:


  • Assist with site measurement
  • Assist in the preparation of accounts for labour only subcontractors and draft payments.
  • Assist with costing and sourcing labour and material.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly cost value reconciliation reports.
  • Assist in monitoring and valuing the cost of variations.
  • Attend internal handover meetings as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of final accounts.
  • Providing a support function for the Project Management team.
  • To participate fully in all training and development activities and attend all related courses and other training as arranged.
  • Work diligently towards developing the skills, knowledge and expertise to prepare final year studies and future career.
