Career Teachers in Leeds are looking for caring, compassionate, and dedicated Teaching Assistants who have experience working with pupils either as part of small groups or on a one-to-one basis.

We are recruiting for LSA's to work in a welcoming school in West Leeds.

If you have experience as a Teaching Assistant or a Learning Support Assistant and have supported children with a range of SEND's or offered general classroom support, then please get in contact and apply

The ability to work well within a team
A passion and interest for working with children who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
A patient and understanding approach as well as the ability to create a calm and safe learning environment
Availability to start as soon as possible
Experience supporting learners with additional needs.

Role Description

Providing 1:1 support as well as small group work
Deliver engaging activities for pupils, taking into consideration their unique learning needs.
Support to ensure working towards therapy targets
Working effectively with the class teacher and other support assistants.
