Job Description

This care home boasts a 24-hour dedicated nursing dementia care team and is trained in caring for individuals with dementia or other memory issues.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a current active NMC Pin as a qualified Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care.
• Develop well-structured care plans and detailed risk assessments, considering regulatory frameworks.
• Maintain accurate documentation and resident records, incorporating modern technology.
• Oversee medicine management on your shift, adhering to company policies and legislation.
• Make timely decisions and take action accordingly.
• Utilize clinical skills to guide and support team members.
• Support and mentor others in line with the NMC Code.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Ability to lead a team, analyze problems, and propose solutions or improvements.
• Effective communication and relationship development.
• Familiarity with IT and communication systems required for the role.
• Respectful attitude towards values, views, and needs of others.
• Able to work under pressure and prioritize workload.
• Can-do attitude.
