We are currently on the lookout for a Transport Administrator to support the transport and fleet department with various administrative tasks and reporting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has had exposure to a busy transport department who wants to develop their knowledge further.

Responsibilities

Monitoring of service/inspection schedule requirements of workshop machinery, tools and equipment
Coordination of fleets breakdowns & maintenance requirements
Tachograph calibrations
Vehicle taxation
Raise purchase order numbers & invoices as required
Analysis of the technician job sheets, data entry of working time, preventative maintenance, MOT, winter overhaul, and repairs onto the database
Issuing of purchase orders for contractors and suppliers both for equipment/general purchases. General administration of workshop invoices created from purchase orders, queries rectification analysis when required
Data entry of information/closing of active tasks and repairs on the database
Maintain accurate and efficient workshop equipment, fleet, plant, and other manuals/guides/maintenance manuals etc. in the library and digitally
