About The Role:

Logistics Officer

London, EC2N

£14.01 per hour

Average 42 hours per week working 4 on 4 off shift pattern (Days and Nights)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for Corporate Logistics Officers, who will work at our client's prestigious premises in London.

Working across a variety of locations within the Loading Bay remit.

We require Officers to be SIA licenced - Security Guarding/Door Supervision

The Logistics Officer is required to provide an efficient, effective and professional security service.

DUTIES AS A LOGISTICS OFFICER

Comply with the rules on loading bay operational hours as set by the Corporation of London.
Ensure that all health & safety requirements and legislation are correctly followed.
Help to manage the daytoday administration of the loading bay access control system, ensuring that all information and data is correctly entered onto the systems.
Ensure that strict access control measures are enforced and maintained at the Loading Bay
Ensure deliveries are kept to their allocated time slots and ensure the booking system is kept updated.
Ensure that all vehicles entering the loading bay are searched as per instructed.
Ensure all vehicles have been swabbed and tested as per instructed.
Ensure that Hostile Vehicle Mitigation measures are strictly enforced.

REQUIREMENTS AS A LOGISTICS OFFICER

A valid SIA Licence.
2 years minimum experience in corporate security / Loading Bay environment.
Have knowledge of Assignment Instructions (AI's)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Customer/Client focused
Must be able to work under pressure, be able make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations.
Basic computer literacy required
Excellent attention to detail and able to respond to issues in an effective efficient manner.
