What we offer:

Reporting to the Material Planning Lead (P95) you will oversee the stock and equipment/asset management relating to an allocated number of engineer vans and resident sites within the KION ITS UK Aftersales network


Tasks and Qualifications:


  • Coordinate, schedule and execute stock checks for all allocated engineers and sites in an efficient manner to minimise engineer downtime
  • Interrogate stock variance data and ensure (where possible) all stock is correctly accounted for and losses posted are kept to absolute minimum.
  • Identify and relay any training needs identified for engineers following stock variance investigation to appropriate engineer line manager
- (Once stock audit result is formally approved) adjust stock on system based on stock audit results

  • Implement van/site stock adjustments based on MRP data prescribed by the Material Planning Lead (P95) as well as exceptional mini/bulk returns to the UK Spare Parts RDC in Basingstoke
  • Life Cycle Management minimising excess, aged and redundant stock held on engineer vans/site through rotation, returns and (where appropriate) scrapping processes
  • Complete engineer vehicle, tooling and PPE inspection audits in conjunction with stock check visits
  • Maintain tooling and equipment registers (e.g. ladder register) to ensure all property is traceable
  • Coordinate and schedule engineer equipment & tooling inspections, testing and calibration in conjunction with appropriate 3rd party partners (i.e. Allianz / CES)
  • Organising replacement tooling in the event of inspections/calibration failure via appropriate engineer line management
- (Where trained to do so) carry out PAT testing on engineer equipment / tooling
