XCL Group are working alongside a growing company who are looking for people to join them at a large Textiles site in West Yorkshire.

This opportunity offers the potential of long-term employment they are looking for hard working and reliable individuals to become a key part of their Innovation department.

Key Responsibilities

Support and research new technologies, post treatments, yarn and machinery
With support assist with the reengineering of existing products
Confidently experiment, explore and play with ideas
Research and inform other members of the team in governmental changes which may impact on fabric performance
Work with existing supply chain to innovate and push boundaries to help become market leaders across all areas
Assisting with organisation and positively contribute to ideas sharing across the design and development, technical develop which will help drive newness and innovation
To work with development teams to interpret concept ideas into commercially viable products
Consistently supporting line managers and senior members of the team in the innovation development process
Keep and update records of all information using internal systems in a timely manner
Ensure that innovation, together with creatively and sustainability remains the focus

Ability Profile

Knowledge of fibres, yarn, constructions and finishes
Ability to work with drive, energy and passion
Ability to work with others
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
A desire to do the best in everything with an ability to create positive and inspiring culture
Drive and energy to inspire and motivate others

Other requirements

Textiles related degree or equivalent industry experience (ideal but not essential)
Maths, English & Science GCSE grade 6 (C) and above
Full driving licence
Competent with PC/ CAD Skills
