Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical assembly of component parts and assemblies to the agreed technical specification/customers order.
  • Marking, cutting, and drilling steel materials and sheet wood.
  • Read and follow documentation to assemble components in the correct technical specification which can vary from order to order.
  • Carry out various other general duties as and when required.
  • Ensuring allocated workshop area is tidy and organised.
  • Adhering to company health and safety policies at all times.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Any previous experience in mechanical assembly would be beneficial for this role.
  • Previous Production experience is essential.
  • Any previous welding experience would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Proactive attitude to lone working as well as working in a group setting.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
