Position Summary:


Duties:


  • Weekly replenishment of "supermarket" stock racks, lineside to each assembly cell
  • Daily replenishment of kit trollies for each assembly line operator to ensure completion of orders
  • Reactive attendance to all operators in the event of stock outs, parts required urgently, and replacement of faulty items
  • Initiation of Non-Conforming process, liaising with the Quality department for faulty part identification and replacement process
  • Identify areas for improvement in relation to process steps and deliverable methods in order to increase efficiency
  • Working with the Production Supervisor and CI Manager, implement LEAN principals and processes
  • Organise and manage physical and systembased stock locations in order to streamline procedures
  • Involvement when required in completing and overseeing stock cycle counts and annual full stock takes
  • Working closely with the Buyer to advise of low or nonstock issues, or adhoc consumable products required on the factory floor
  • Liaising with the Planner to ensure timely supply of raw materials to the assembly lines in accordance with the output demand, for alternative spec machines on an adhoc basis, and to advise of any impacts which may alter the production schedule.

Education Degree:


  • High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience:


  • Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Experience in managing an area for process controls
  • Previous exposure of working to set timescales, and desired results being achieved with mínimal supervision.
  • Ability to assess, identify and implement new ideas and solutions for efficiency gains.
  • Excellent timekeeping and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changes, delays or unexpected events.
  • Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks to ensure timely completion of job responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of recording and keeping accurate data.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work with all employees at all levels of management.
