Description
Shire Healthcare are currently supporting a specialist Wheelchair Service with the recruitment of an Occupational Therapist based in Kent. This is a full-time, permanent position although our client will also consider part-time applicants.


The role:

  • Assessing and prescribing specialist mobility equipment
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Providing supervision to junior colleagues
  • Managing and prioritising a caseload whilst providing a customerfocused service

The ideal Occupational Therapist:

  • Holds a relevant Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registered
  • Experience of completing assessments for wheelchairs/postural equipment
  • Holds a full UK driving license
  • Previous experience of working at a band 7 level
