Our business is growing So, we are looking for a full-time Copy Editor or Medical Editor to join our successful team.

Our copy-editing team is central to delivering the consistent high-quality medical communications outputs on which Bioscript Group has built its reputation.

As part of the team, you will be responsible for providing scientific editorial support for assigned accounts, working closely with our medical writing, studio and client services functions to manage and deliver the consistent, high-quality and timely work that our clients expect.

Have a wide range of responsibilities, including copy editing, proofreading, abstract and manuscript submissions, sourcing copyright permissions, literature searching and use of tools such as EndNote to ensure quality, timely delivery and consistency.
Edit, style and proofread documents to make them publicationready and ensure they are easy to follow, consistent, accurate and of high quality.
Provide assistance with literature searches and journal/congress submissions, and research relevant journal/congress information.
Source copyright permissions to reproduce figures in client materials.
Support account teams in identifying relevant journals or congresses for given projects obtaining information to settle queries or obtain materials/approvals.
Liaise with our studio and database management services to ensure smooth management of wider tasks and projects.

Our new Editor will have

Previous editing experience, preferably in an agency, scientific or publishing environment.
Knowledge of reference management tools.
Working knowledge of using Embase, PubMed and/or other literature databases for literature searches.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
An awareness or practice of working in an environment requiring compliance with industry or independent regulators.
The confidence to support internal clients, managing the scope and throughput of complex deliverables.
