FIXED TERM 16 Months: 37 hours per week


SALARY:
£9.40 per hour


LOCATION:
Tiverton

We have two opportunities relating to Apprenticeships with Mid Devon Housing.

One will work with our Housing Team based in our Old Road depot in Tiverton; and the other will work with the Neighbourhood team based at Phoenix House in Tiverton.


About the Roles


In both roles, you will deal with all housing matters such as dealing with new tenancy sign ups, tenancy disputes, tenant feedback, rent enquiries and repairs.

You will learn about the rights and responsibilities of tenants; the repairs responsibilities of social landlords; supporting vulnerable people; how to collect rent with compassion; housing-related law; and the management of anti-social behaviour.


About You


You will ideally need a GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above or be willing to work towards a Level 2 in English and Maths functional skills.


About the Apprenticeship


Within your apprenticeship you will develop your knowledge, skills and understanding to be able to provide a high quality administrative service to the Technical Support and Repairs team.

You will be working to complete the Chartered Institute of Housing Level 2 Apprenticeship with the training provider The Learning Foundry.


The level 2 apprenticeship process will take approximately 16 months to complete and will be supported with on the job and off the job training.

You will have regular contact and access to a tutor virtually and there will also be time spent away from day to day duties to complete coursework and assignments.
