THE ROLE -Supply Chain Manager.
We're looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join this established team with a focus on delivering an excellent customer experience whilst utilising demand & supply planning, techniques to drive efficiencies through the Supply Chain, ensuring that Customerand DCC strategies for deployment align to support the national Smart Meter Rollout.
Key Accountabilities.
Support customer ordering and forecasting of communication hubs and onboarding new customers to the Smart programme.
Ensuring customer delivery schedules are communicated in a timely manner and that deliveries are completed On Time, In Full (OTIF), meeting business KPIs.
Ensure regulatory and contractual obligations are interpreted and followed accordingly.
Monitoring customer and supplier performance against Regulatory and Contractual SLAs.
Responsible for the development and implementation of standard policies and procedures to ensure the Supply Chain function operates in the most efficient manner possible.
Collaborate and develop strong personal relationships with key contacts at all management levels.
Challenge the way we do things, embrace, and inspire change for the future Supply Chain.
**Essential Skills & Experience
Energy Industry or Telecommunications knowledge with relevant Supply Chain experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent relationship, influencing and negotiating skills.
Extensive and effective stakeholder management skills with customer facing experience.
Working with suppliers and customers to achieve mutually agreed objectives and performance levels.
Self-sufficient and comfortable prioritising, ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
Experience in demand planning, forecasting, and serialised asset inventory management
Ability to problem solve and analyse data in support of delivering supply chain strategies.
Experience of working with third party logistics providers
Delivery and/or implementation of complex change projects into multi-stakeholder operational environments
Assessing risk and making risk-based recommendations and decisions
Ability to be flexible and work under pressure.
