HR0139431The University of Bradford are pleased to be able to advise of a vacancy for a qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join the health and safety team; the role is campus based.

The main duties under this role will include (but are not restricted to):

Undertaking annual inspections of all known asbestos or asbestos containing materials;
Maintaining asbestos database to ensure it remains up to date;
Work collaboratively with colleagues within Estates and Infrastructure and manage contractors where removal works are scheduled.

You must have experience of working in a similar role and have an accredited Asbestos Surveyor qualification as a minimum e.g.

P402 (or equivalent).

It is essential that you are able to prioritise your workload and manage conflicting deadlines without close supervision.

You must be a team player with excellent communication skills to enable you to integrate and be a part the central H & S team.

You should have good IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office and other database operations.
