An outstanding opportunity has arisen within a leading financial services firm for a Senior Data Modeller to join the Data Architecture team.
What you'll be doing:
You will be instrumental in focusing on the data modelling aspects of transformation
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and aligning data models with the company's strategic objectives, ensuring logical and operational assets integration within the enterprise data model.
- Working closely with the transformation team to enhance data extraction and utilisation processes, ensuring data agility and scalability through Data Vault methodology.
- Engaging with stakeholders across the enterprise to understand business pain points and customer interactions, driving data solutions that address these challenges.
- Utilising data modelling tools for Data Vault modelling, contributing to the development and management of the enterprise data model in an AGILE environment.
What experience you'll need to apply:
- Proven expertise in Data Vault modelling and familiarity with data modelling tools e.g Erwin, ER Studio.
- A background in financial services with solid understanding of regulatory issues and logical models.
- Demonstrable experience in leading data modelling for large programmes, showing how you've contributed to the endtoend enterprise data modelling lifecycle.
- Ability to work autonomously, with a track record of stakeholder engagement and understanding business requirements.
