Are you a skilled and empathetic healthcare professional who excels in drawing blood and providing essential support to patients? Join our team as a Phlebotomist / Healthcare Assistant, where your expertise and compassionate care will play a critical role in our healthcare services, ensuring accurate specimen collection and patient comfort.
Key Responsibilities:

Blood Collection: Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws, following established protocols and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Specimen Handling: Properly label, handle, and transport collected specimens, ensuring accurate identification and maintaining sample integrity.

Patient Interaction: Interact with patients, explain procedures, address questions, and create a welcoming and reassuring environment.

Healthcare Support: Assist with various clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining patient records.

Infection Control: Follow strict infection control measures, maintaining a sterile and hygienic environment during procedures.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team, including nurses, physicians, and laboratory staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:

Phlebotomy Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in venipuncture and capillary blood collection techniques.

Empathy: Show compassion and understanding when interacting with patients, especially those who may be anxious about blood draws.

Attention to Detail: Pay meticulous attention to labeling, documentation, and specimen handling.
