Introduction:

My client is a large defence company is looking for a Cost Manager to develop and maintain the project estimating and cost management capability.

You will need to have previous experience in leadership, and strong project estimating and cost management experience.

This is a hybrid role with requirements to be on site as and when required.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the estimating and cost capability.
Ensure best practice and governance is applied and adhered to.
Integrate new cost management tools.
Train junior colleagues in cost practices.
Shape future of project estimating and cost management.

Skills & experience:

Previous experience in leadership/mentoring.
Strong project estimating and cost experience.
Experience working on customer facing projects.
Experience with tools such as MSP, P6, Active Risk Manager, RiskHive, Deltek Cobra, Safran or Primavera Risk Analyser etc.
Experience of using ERP systems, including IFS (or similar) is desirable.
