QC Lead
The Quality Control (QC) Team Leader is an integral position for the QC laboratory. The QC Team Leader reports directly to the QC Manager. The QC Team Leader aids in the management of the laboratory operations. This position is responsible for leading employees and teams who are responsible for testing and testing support operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise employees and teams that are performing, managing, and supporting all aspects of the testing operations, including assay/data review.
  • Author, manage, coach, and approve QC deviation investigations, corrective and preventative actions, change controls, etc
  • Assist staff with problem solving
  • Assist QC Manager with resource planning, objectives setting and management, and implementation of departmental strategies
  • Assure the laboratory programs/procedures are compliant with all regulations (domestic and international), GxPs, corporate requirements, and industry standards.
  • Assure all areas of responsibility are operated according to all safety regulations, procedures and expectations.
  • Review, evaluate, and manage initiatives to improve overall laboratory operations, including efficiency and GxP performance.
  • Oversee team objectives, testing priorities, and coordinates laboratory resources to align with objectives and priorities.
  • Participate in audits and inspection, including site's internal audit program.
  • Conduct performance reviews, implement and manage development plans, including developmental opportunities for laboratory personnel through training and assignments.

Basic Qualifications**:

  • We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:_
  • B.S. or M.S. in biochemistry or related life science
  • Strong experience in a GxP regulated laboratory environment. Strong supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Solid team player able to function within team based organisation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to interact with peers, subordinate and senior personnel in multidisciplinary environment including engineering, facility operations, validation, production and QA.
  • Able to prioritise and decide appropriate course of actions. Effective at implementing decision.
  • Fully versed in GxPs, NIH, ICH Guidelines, FDA and other regulatory agency requirements for validation and operations of analytical and stability functions
