Claims Handler /Administrator

The role is fully office based

Working hours: 8AM - 5PM

Monday to Friday

Location:
Middle Aston Oxfordshire

The role would suit someone who has insurance related experience and has a confident phone manner.

Using multiple IT systems, you will be used to a fast-paced environment and being able to use your own initiative.

Our office at Middle Aston provides an excellent working environment as does the team that you'd be working with. Although insurance experience is preferred, if you are capable and quick learning, these attributes are more important.

Liaising with customers and being their first point of contact to gather information for assessing a claim.
Be a point of contact for customers for updates on the claim process.
Be a point of contact for our insurance clients for updates on the claim process
Be a point of control for the sub contractors.
Be point of contact for our teams at site.
Manage caseloads of claims by using a diary system and communicating with all internal and external parties involved including claims managers, contractors and loss adjusters to provide the best service to the customer.
Handling diaries of technicians and third party contractors who are visiting customers' homes, keeping all parties updated and in the loop.

What we're looking for -

Preferred experience within claims, specifically within domestic building insurance although not essential.
Excellent customer service experience and ability to multi task.
Strong organisation skills and high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and with a varied workload.
Team player with a passion for helping others.
Proactive and able to work with initiative.

Salary:
£25,000.00-£28,000.00 dependant on experience.
