As a Global Retail Planning Specialist you will enable specialist classic product sales and service both directly from Classic Works and across the retail network.
You will be responsible for planning and implementing the retail strategy, inclusive of market analysis, vehicle export processes, commercial product training and standards, plus liaison with Jaguar Land Rover regions and retailers alike to support a seamless luxury client journey at retail.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities- Identification of sales opportunities and development of sales and aftersales plans to ensure a luxury client journey
- Research, develop and implement retail formats and processes to improve the international reach and customer experience of classic sales and service, driving cross functional engagement and input to achieve these
- Research and provide vehicle export and registration guidance for specialist future classic vehicle owners
- Understand vehicle and owner documentation requirements for specialist future classic vehicles and develop a plan to provide seamless owner support
- Support commercial legal activity, from bespoke client contracts with Sales to target market legislation requirements with Engineering
- Plan and implement delivery of commercial product training, internally and externally, and liaise with Engineering to ensure technical product training is delivered in the same way
- Work with Programme, Product Marketing and Finance teams to support business case development, and ensure programmes take account of retail plan requirements, (e.g. vehicles completed to export schedule including its PDI and MOT)
- Plan and deploy international sales and service commercial initiatives, customer programmes, and field service activities
- Work in conjunction with the Sales and Service Operations Specialist to handover robust retail plans prior to launch, to ensure effective implementation of luxury retail strategy
- Build strong relationships with the Jaguar Land Rover regions and retail partners, to deliver additional Classic retail opportunities which achieve volume and provide excellent client experiences at retail and beyond, inclusive of international travel as and when required
WHAT YOU-LL NEED
- Previous experience and background in automotive sales planning or retail strategy, accompanied with a proven track record of successful delivery of targets
- Proven ability to deliver robust planning and see plans through to completion
- Ability to manage multiple projects, with strong timemanagement and prioritisation skills
- Proven ability to build strong relationships
- An awareness of OEM distribution channels / customer managment experience and shipping / INCO terms would be advantageous but is not a requirement
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
