We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our fantastic team in Ashton-Under-Lyne. In this role, you will deliver exceptional retail service, ensuring every customer enjoys a wonderful shopping experience. As a valued Sales Assistant, you will help boost shop sales and profits, contribute to the shop's daily operations, and step in for the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager when needed.

Given the nature of this position, you will need to handle/lift bags of stock (up to 10kgs).

You should have:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Cash handling experience
  • Capability to lift and carry bags of stock up to 10kg
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • The capacity to work independently when required
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to cultural and gender diversity, and a dedication to equal opportunities
  • A flexible work approach, willing to work extra days to cover absences or participate in special shop events outside regular hours
